| Have you ever wondered what the dark web sites are, and why they exist? It can be tough to find any information on the deep web, much less know exactly what it is. The Internet was created so people could connect and share information across the globe. There's a lot of data on the deep web, and the Silk Road is only one of many hidden sites out there. You may think the dark web isn't a real part of the Internet, but it actually is and has been for quite some time.
The dark web sites are just like any other website on the Internet; they're just hidden away from view. By nature, websites that are on the dark web don't have very many visitors. Because the traffic is low, you don't see a whole lot of websites on the deep web. However, that is not a problem because the dark web still has plenty of websites to visit. One way to find the websites is by using a VPN (Virtual Private Network), or Virtual Private Server.
A VPN is a type of network that is used to mask your identity online, and while this may sound like an attractive idea, a VPN can also hide a whole lot more than you realize. For instance, if you go to the ProtonMail web site, you may be redirected to a "ProtonMail Support" page instead of the actual home page. On the surface, the page looks fine, but in order to get to the important information you need to know, such as email, you will need to go through the back door and enter the dark web version. Although ProtonMail has their own webpage, you may want to go ahead and go to the dark web version of the site and you will get the same information that you would on a ProtonMail support page.
